At Nicholas Chamberlaine, we see homework as an important way to help our students reach their full potential by building on the time that we have with them in class. We know that many of our students really value the help they get with their homework from their parents or carers. However, as curriculums have changed, more and more parents have been looking for support to allow them to help their sons/daughters with this work. Therefore, we would like to invite you to a ‘Homework Help’ evening on Wednesday 4th November 2015, at 6:00pm, finishing at 7:30pm.
This evening will offer useful strategies for supporting your child in English, Maths, Science and Languages. These will be in short sessions and the emphasis will be on giving you practical skills to use. There will also be an opportunity to learn about SAM Learning, our online resource. If your son/daughter can attend with you, they would be very welcome. Tea, coffee and sandwiches will be provided for everyone attending.
